Industrial Oils
Dyna-Plex 21C Sirius 600 Series Gear Oils
Contain an ‘extreme pressure’ additive system. This allows the lubricant to remain water, rust and corrosion resistant in severe situations. These lubricants excel in industries where load carrying capacity is required. The combination of high viscosity base oils and additives maintain shear stability and reduce wear, even under hot, wet and dirty high load or extreme pressure conditions. Dyna-Plex 21C Sirius 600 Series Gear Oils adhere to metal, even under the most severe conditions. These unique characteristics are imparted by a polar agent with special cohesive and adhesive properties and help extend component life.
Dyna-Plex 21C Sirius 600 Series Gear Oils
Are suited for the lubrication of a wide variety of industrial and mobile equipment, enclosed gear systems, chain drives, sprockets, plain and anti-friction bearings, slide guides and flexible couplings. They excel in the lubrication of enclosed gear drives and reducers from fractional horsepower gear motors to the large high horsepower units on rolling mills and hoists. Available in 602, 603, 645, 606, 608. Dyna-Plex 21C Sirius 600 Series Gear Oils meet or exceed the following tests and requirements:
- American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) 250.04
- U.S. Steel 224
Universal Mizar 400 Series Lubricants
have been specifically designed for industrial and construction applications where load and atmospheric operating conditions create extreme pressure and high temperatures. A polar agent has been added to increase the adhesive and cohesive qualities so, even in severe conditions, Mizar adheres to metal and resists separation. Universal Mizar 400 Series lubricants provide high oxidation stability, anti-foam properties and effective rust and corrosion resistance. These characteristics ensure proper lubrication and extend machinery life. Universal Mizar 400 Series lubricants are suited for a wide variety of industrial and mobile equipment applications, including enclosed gear systems, chain drives, sprockets, plain and anti-friction bearings and slide guides. They are also suited to the lubrication of a variety of gears, including spur, bevel, herring bone and worm design. And they can handle the lubrication of industrial hypoid gears where speed, temperature and load are not too high. Available in 402, 403, 445,407. Universal Mizar 400 Series meet or exceed the following tests and requirements:
- American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) 250.04
Universal Alcor 628 Heat Transfer Oils are specially refined non-corrosive, nontoxic, odorless heat transfer oils which provide superior heat absorption and exhibit outstanding thermal stability and oxidation resistance at constant high operating temperatures. Formulated from selected petroleum stock and additives, these oils provide reduced oxidation essential for even distribution and rapid heating, making them ideal for low atmospheric temperature work. Superior thermal stability resists deterioration and cracking, even in systems with fluid temperatures above 500 ·F.
Universal Alcor 628 Heat Transfer Oils are non-corrosive to steel, stainless steel, iron, aluminum and copper systems and are recommended for all fluid heat transfer systems, both open and closed. Available in ISO 32, 68, 100.
Universal Alcor 628 Heat Transfer Oils are designed for use in CLOSED (ISO #32) and OPEN (ISO #100) heat transfer systems, such as those found in processing plants where jacketed kettles are heated.
Universal Rock Drill Oil
Is recommended for internal lubrication of all makes of pneumatic percussion tools under wet or dry conditions. The additive package is designed to provide properties such as extreme pressure capability, rust and corrosion protection, adherence to internal tool surfaces, good emulsion and anti-foam characteristics. Available in Medium and Heavy grades.
Universal Rock Drill Oil meets or exceeds the Gardner Denver Rock Drill Lubricant Specifications.
Universal Uniquench Oils
Are formulated to provide uniform steel hardness and protection against cracking. Universal Uniquench Oils provide good oxidative performance and thermal stability. They also show low deposit formation in panel coker testing. Universal Uniquench Oils were developed in two grades to provide the optimum quenching time for the degree of hardness desired. Universal Uniquench Oils meets or exceeds the MIL-H-6875H requirements.
Universal Draco
Is a premium grade, high viscosity index, low pour product. Universal Draco contains a balanced heavy duty additive which will protect new journal bearings during the critical break-in period and minimize friction in heavily loaded bearings. The rust and corrosion protection afforded by the heavy duty additive combination is further enhanced by an additional rust inhibiting additive.
Universal Draco is formulated and recommended for year round use. It is also recommended for traction motor support bearings and for lubrication of the truck center plates of locomotives.
Universal Draco meets the following specifications:
- Locomotive Specifications AAR-M963-84 and AAR-M-963-79
- General Electric
