Re-Refined, Re-Defined.

In 2009 Universal Lubricants built one of the world’s most technologically advanced oil
re-refineries adjacent to our headquarters in Wichita, Kan. There, used oil is brought in from across several states and re-refined to produce a Group II base oil for direct sale or blending into our ECO ULTRA line of products. At this state-of-the-art re-refinery we use the latest technologies to maximize efficiencies and minimize the environmental impact.

The used oil produced in our re-refinery:

• Meets requirements for Group II base lube stock
• Meets the American Petroleum Institute standards
• Meets warranty requirements for new automobiles by meeting API Standards
• Is accepted by major automobile manufacturers including Ford, GM, Chrysler,
  Honda, Toyota and Mercedes, as an API-approved lubricating oil made with
  re-refined base stock

Other byproducts of the re-refining process include:

• Flux extender, used to enhance asphalt products
• Fuel products for internal and/or third-party use
• Treated water from our state-of-the-art, in-house wastewater treatment facility, which is made available to the city of Wichita
