Products made from re-refined base oil use up to 89% less energy to manufacture than refining from crude. In addition, harmful emissions are reduced by as much as 65 percent. Of all the material extracted through the re-refining process, Universal Lubricants is pleased to report that only 1/10 of 1% is unable to be re-purposed. This small amount is disposed of in strict accordance with hazardous material guidelines. That makes this a process that’s continually repeatable. Since oil never wears out, the source for re-refined oil can never be depleted.

The purification process cleans water separated from the oil so well that it’s purchased by local governments for non-potable use.
